Cestus’
current marquee fighters are Irish/Chicago native son Don 'Da Bomb' George and
British/St. Lucian Ashley "Treasure" Theophane; Don 'Da Bomb' George joined the Cestus
team late 2005 and is one of Chicago's rising stars; 'Da Bomb' is a
former 3-times Chicago Golden Glove's Champion and as a professional is
undefeated at 17-0-1 (14KO's). 'Da Bomb' has a strong loyal fan base which is
increasing with every fight, his charismatic, entertaining style of fighting
is gaining him positive media exposure. Ashley "Treasure"
Theophane hails from the UK and was recently inked by Cestus
to take his career to the next level and make his presence in the USA. Ashley
boasts an impressive record of 25-3-1 (7KOs). Cestus
is currently working on Ashley's next fight that will feature him in
the USA in the not too distant future.
In the summer of 2008 Cestus
made multiple signings of some hot prospect Latino fighters based out of South Texas; these are
the first of many Latino fighters that Cestus
hopes to sign in the future. Robert 'The Nighthawk' Luna and Rodolfo 'La
Cobrita' Gomez are well on their way, both boasting undefeated
records of 5-0 (4KOs) they are scheduled to fight again in December of 09 in
Texas. Jairo 'El Barbaro' Martinez who is 3-0
will also fight again in December. Another great fighter that Cestus
are proud to add to their roster is highly decorated amateur star, Hector
Ramos; he is 3-0(1KO) as a professional and is scheduled to fight again in
Chicago, December 09.
Also hailing out of South Texas is Cestus'
decorated amateur and undefeated professional, James 'Quick
Draw' DuBois. As an amateur DuBois had over 100 fights with only 8
losses winning numerous titles over a span of a decade. Dubois is
7-0(3KOs) as a pro fighter and well on his way in the to making an impact in
the professional ranks. Cestus is
scheduling James' next fight at the end of November 09 in Texas.
In December of 09 Cestus inked an
exciting Welterweight prospect from Austin, Texas, Raymond "Lino"
Gatica; Cestus
is very excited in grooming Raymond and establishing him in the next
phase of his career. Raymond has a perfect unblemished professional record of
11 wins, 6 of them coming by way of KO; he will be making his Cestus debut in
February 2010 and will be well on his way to knocking on North American title
in his next few fights.
